Cubs win World Series

The Cubs won the World Series. Just saying that sentence out loud doesn't sound right or even sound possible. But it happened. Exciting for Chicago and exciting for baseball. It was definitely a good time to pickup the MLB account at work :) There was a small part of me that wanted to see the curse continue. It's one of the truly unique stories in sports and has such great history. It's one of the things that made the Cubs special and unique. But all good (bad?) things must come to an end. The Cubs won the World Series and that is pretty cool. Glad I was in Chi when it happened. Always promised myself I would be there if they had a chance to win and they finally did it!
