Wedding Competition

Back in high school, Scabbies & I started a competition to see how could get invited to more weddings.  We'd score points based on our role in the wedding - 1 point for an invite, 2 points for wedding party, 3 points for best man.  We agreed the competition would end when one of us got married.  The loser had to buy the winner a bottle of Dom and 50 wings.

Scabbies got married in January and along with his wife Al, he took home the wedding competition trophy.  Final stats below.

So during Soham's wedding weekend in May, the competition was finalized with Dom & wings at Barney's Beanery in Santa Monica.  One of the best $400 meals you can buy!  Believe it or not, I'd do it again.  Champagne and chicken wings are a great combo that few people have the privilege of experiencing.

But although the wedding competition is over, the weddings continue.  A few days later, it was TC & I giving a toast for our longtime pal Soham, putting the old Soham to bed once and for all.

And then two weeks later, it was round 2 for my boy Q!  Feeling much more confident about this one.
