Holiday Travel

At the beginning of 2010, I set a goal for myself to get out of LA for every three day weekend throughout the year, ideally going someplace I haven’t been if at all possible. Taking a moment to look back, it was a year full of adventure and new experiences.

New Orleans (MLK weekend)
Houston (President’s Day weekend)
Hawaii (Memorial Day weekend)
Denver (July 4th)
Boston (Labor Day Weekend)
Chicago (Thanksgiving)
Catalina Island (Christmas)
San Diego (New Year’s)

Add to that a trip to Nashville, London, Paris, Santa Barbara and another Chicago trip, and that means I was on the road for 25% of the weekends this year. Not quite as much as I’d like, but overall pretty good.

Looking forward to more great adventures in 2011. Starting with Tucson for MLK weekend…
