Guatemala

The boys are back!  Guat - you're goddamn right we went to Guat!  We had the vision and then executed.

Antigua: Aside from an awkward confrontation with a restaurant owner who looked like he grew up in South Bend, IN, it was great.  Cafe No Se may be the best bar in the world.  Hell, we stayed where Bill Clinton stayed!

Lake Atitlan: Lake Tahoe on steroids.  Yoga Forest was a pleasant surprise.  Not many places that far off the beaten path these days, anywhere in the world.  We all would have stayed longer in San Marcos to hang with the hippies.

Tikal: Closest you can get to Indiana Jones.  Love how Tikal isn't overrun by tourists and you can walk on the ruins (though it can't be good for them).  The forest surrounding Tikal is the 2nd largest in the world behind only the Amazon.

Slime had a great toast on our final night - something to the effect of it being amazing that four men around 40 can go someplace for 6 days and essentially spend every waking moment together.  Part of me thinks it is amazing, while part of me remembers many days back in the day where 6 straight days with the homies was the standard.  Either way - thankful!
