Nova Scotia - Cabot Links & Cabot Cliffs
Our crazy idea turned out to be a good one! Pretty amazing to think about two epic golf courses like Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs being dropped into the middle of nowhere (Inverness, NS), 3.5 hours north of Halifax. It was a blast to open up the club for the season on their first day open. Cabot Links was awesome, ranked #43 internationally, the best course I've ever played. And then day 2 on Cabot Cliffs was otherworldly, a perfect golf experience (playing just us two), makes sense it's ranked #9.
I knew there would be some Scottish heritage in Nova Scotia, but didn't realize it would literally be like going to Scotland. Scottish street names, Scottish food, what appeared to be Scottish accents and definitely Scottish-looking people, pretty cool experience given our Scottish ancestry.
But most importantly, awesome to spend time with Dad 1x1. They are special times and I feel so fortunate to be able to do it together. Our trips are focused on golf, eat and sleep - the perfect combo! Until the next one... :)
