In The Ends

"We only want to be free. And as funny as it sounds it's all we want. To not have our egos bound with the rays of suns. Because man should be free as falling rain. To find what he loves even if it's pain" - The Growlers

RT 11: Payette River & Boise

Decade two.  Year one.  Our conversion ratio for married guys / engaged guys is not good, but we will improve.  We will!  This year required a lot from attendees: extra engagement, extra humor, extra strength and extra bravery and thankfully everyone brought their A game (except Vandy's C game threads).  Joe, our PRC guide who lives in a van down by the river (literally), was also a key contributor.  Joe at campfire: "Ok Matt, it's your turn."  "Jeff, you're up next."

WW rafting has now jumped up my list of favorite activities.  Could definitely do it once a year.  What's not to love about smashing into whitewater with a crew of friends, navigating a damaged boat and saving an old guy from drowning?  PVC was a great group to pop my ww cherry with. Passionate rafting guys like Shawn the owner - "I skipped college for white water.  Ooops. :)".

And don't sleep on Boise, could be an up n' coming city with fun bars, attractive women and amazing scenery close by.  For any Californians who don't know the difference between Iowa, Ohio and Idaho (I've met quite a few), I can now explain the specifics of each.

I don't remember any RT where everyone was so pumped to plan next year's trip on the current trip, but that happened this year.  RT is alive and well as we enter decade two.  Still one of the best ideas ever!!!

Until the next one!
