In The Ends

"We only want to be free. And as funny as it sounds it's all we want. To not have our egos bound with the rays of suns. Because man should be free as falling rain. To find what he loves even if it's pain" - The Growlers

Mount Whitney

5 bros, 3 days, 14500 feet, 22 miles, one goal: climb the highest mountain in North and South America that is south of Alaska: Mount Whitney. This hike was physically the hardest thing I have ever done and without Little Billy, Chef Schluter, Tarzan, and Johnny D. Davits, I would never have made it.

Traveling through all different sorts of terrain, from forest to jagged rock, snow to open fields, I felt like I was in Lord of the Rings, like a hobbit on the journey to Mordor. With two huge blisters after the first 100 yards of the hike, a farmers tan on his legs unlike any I have seen and an ear so sunburned that it filled with puss and looked like it was ready to explode, I think it's fair to say that Billy endured the most pain and suffering on this trip and is therefore crowned as our Frodo. He was a fearless leader, a great water boy and an overall inspiration to the band of brothers that followed him.

Unbelieveable experience, can't wait for the next adventure.
