Year 1 Analysis
My 1 year anniversary of living in LA is fast approaching. It actually feels like I have been out here longer than a year because I have done so much. I have accepted two jobs during this past year at Fox and The Tennis Channel, bought two bikes (one was drunkenly misplaced/stolen), visited Vegas twice, Scottsdale twice, San Diego twice, and San Francisco once. Newport Beach has been my home away from home, and Beverly Hills has been my surreal life home. I don't have a true home out here, I am on permanent vacation.
This year has been enjoyable for many reasons. I have learned a great deal about life and experienced a number of things I never thought I would experience. The person that has really made this year special for me has been Monique Pauline Hem. As a person who could never live alone, I am so lucky to be able to come home to a sweet, positive, smart, beautiful, Cambodian queen everyday. I try not to take it for granted. After a stellar New Year's hanging out with countless good friends, it was difficult to come back to an empty apartment as Monique was in Rome. I literally sat on the couch and didn't know what to do with myself. Things have gotten better since then.
The sky is the limit for all of us in 2007. Let's make it happen. Skydiving is first on the agenda.
