In The Ends

"We only want to be free. And as funny as it sounds it's all we want. To not have our egos bound with the rays of suns. Because man should be free as falling rain. To find what he loves even if it's pain" - The Growlers

Antigua & Barbuda

Finally got out of the US during covid.  Antigua & Barbuda was the right country all along.  Arrived with a negative test and good to go.  And the people might be the friendliest I've ever encountered in all my travels.  Genuine and happy to have us there.

Rented a car and zoomed all over the island, from Half Moon Bay beach to the UNESCO site Nelson's Dockyards, to Sheer Rocks on the west side and the Danish dude at Kon Tiki floating bar on the north side.  Gonna miss Kenny from Life on the Corner in English Harbour, the sailors Dave & Hatch and our new friends Michael & Elias from Keyonna.

Barbuda tour was as expected, long ferry ride with some sea sweats, bus broke down, sprinting to the ferry along the beach in the afternoon, then the ferry breaks down as the sun sets.  Yet another exercise in sitting back, relaxing and letting things figure themselves out.  They usually do.  In this case it was the Barbudans under the ship deck fixing the old ferry with gas fumes and smoke pillowing out.  Back at Keyonna in time for dinner :)
